Cinco de Mayo Half Marathon & PCRF Reaching for the Cure 5K, 10K & Kids Run

Join us May 2nd 2010 for the
Cinco de Mayo Half Marathon
&
"Reaching for the Cure" 10K run, 5K walk/run & 1K kids run

This event is designed to heighten public awareness and raise funds for pediatric cancer research. A fun-filled family day is planned where both adults and children join together to support Pediatric Cancer Research Foundation's mission to raise funds to improve the care, quality of life and survival rate of children with cancer.

We will have the already popular USA Track and Field certified half marathon winding through Irvine's tree-lined streets and paths as well as the 10K and 5K runs (all chip-timed) and the 5K walk and 1K Kids Fun Run.

Start/Finish festivities include main fun and informative booths, lots of food giveaways, exhibits, entertainment, games, face painting and many children activities.

Online Registration is Now open!

You may register online until April 28th. After April 28th, you may pre-register and pick up your race packet on Saturday, 5/1, (location to be determined) or you may register the morning of the event starting at 5:30AM. Enjoy the Festivities Finish line festivities will include entertainment, great food, mascots, exhibits and lots of activities for the kids!

Team Leader:

Half Marathon:
$50 (10/31/09 through 12/31/2009)
$60 (01/01/10 through 02/28/10)
$65 (03/01/10 through 04/15/10)
$75 after 04/15/10

10K/5K Run:
$30 (10/31/09 through 12/31/2009)
$33 (01/01/10 through 02/28/10)
$38 (03/01/10 through 04/15/10)
$40 after 04/15/10

5K Walk:
$25 (10/31/09 through 12/31/2009)

11:00 am - 4:00 pm

Pre-registration and race packet pick-up (location to be announced) in the Irvine Spectrum. Turn in any sponsorship donations collected off-line and pick up your fundraising prizes and race-day packet.

5/2/2010
5:30 am - 9:30 am
Race day registrations are welcome!
Registration for the Half Marathon is open until 6:45AM; registration for the 10K/5K Run is open until 7:30AM; registration for the 5K Walk is open until 8:15AM; and registration for the 1K is open until 9:30AM.

Turn in any sponsorship pledge money you have collected off-line and pick up your fundraising prizes at the Pledge Booth.

Half Marathon Starts (To complete the course within the allotted time, you must be able to maintain a 16 minute per mile pace.)
