6:45pm Kids Obstacle Course Start

The Summer Trail Run Series will make you feel like a kid again. Join your running friends for an evening 5 mile trail run through beautiful Peters Canyon Wilderness Park at this Thursday night summer running series. Stay afterward for music and BBQ. We have the Rough Fit Kids Obstacle Course again this year and a great play area so be sure to bring the kids!

The Peters Canyon Summer Trail Run Series benefits the Fun & Fit Program. Fun & Fit matches fitness enthusiasts with Orange County group foster homes. The kids gain self esteem and confidence through physical activities. Many of the kids will be out either volunteering or participating in the event. Make a difference in a foster child's life and come out and participate in the Summer Trail Run Series.

With each Trail Run entry get your choice of the BBQ* or event T-shirt*. Additional BBQ tickets and T-shirts will be available for a $5 donation.

MAKE A DIFFERENCE & DONATE TO TRAIL MAINTENANCE

The OCCC provides trail maintenance in Peters Canyon Regional Parks. The OCCC's approach to employablility teaches teamwork and cooperation by utilizing work projects that are beneficial to the community and the environment by creating an atmosphere where corps members have the chance to develop on an educational, professional and personal level.
